Zao / Ogama
A crater lake with a beautiful emerald green surface with a circumference of 1,080m and a maximum depth of 27.6m.
There is the Zao Summit Rest House near (about 30 minutes by car from our hotel).
There are restaurants and souvenir shops in the hotel.
3rd floor waterfall
The waterfall falls in three steps with a height of 181m and a width of 7m, which has been selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Waterfalls.
It is located in the middle of the Zao Echo Line, which leads to the Ogama in Zao. (Approximately 10 minutes by car from our hotel)
Timber Rock Park
Timberstone, a national natural monument with a height of about 65m and a width of about 100m.
You can see the powerful rock surface. There is a meal at a soba restaurant in the park.
You can also visit the "Old Uetozawa Crossing Yashiki Kimura Family Residence". (Approximately 45 minutes by car from our hotel)
Akiu Otaki
A waterfall with a width of 6m and a head of 55m, which is designated as one of Japan's Top 100 Waterfalls and a national scenic spot.
There are stairs to Takimidai.
There is also a promenade to the waterfall basin. (Approximately 50 minutes by car from our hotel)
