Zao Echo Line

◆A mountain road that crosses Mount Zao on the Zao Echo Line east and west and connects Miyagi and Yamagata prefectures. From late September to late October, you can drive while loving the red and yellow foliage.

Surrounded by the magnificent mountains of Mount Zao, it is a popular ski resort with the superb view of the highest altitude in Miyagi Prefecture and the finest powder snow.

Fudo Falls

◆Fudo Falls It is the largest waterfall among the waterfalls in Mount Zao, with a height of 53.5m, a width of 16m, and a waterfall pot of 32m. There is a large amount of water, and it has the taste of a waterfall in Fukayama, and it is popular with many literary ink artists.

◆The Fudo Falls seen from the Komakusadaira Observation Deck of Fudo Falls is deeply cut into the eastern part of Mt. Goshiki in the muddy river. The sight of the rough rock surface covered with colored shrubs is a superb view unique to the volcanic zone.

Kettle

◆Migama Ogama is a circular crater lake nestled on three peaks: Mt. Zao Karita, Mt. Kumano, and Mt. Goshiki. It has a mysterious atmosphere in contrast to the rough crater wall and is the best tourist attraction of Miyagi Zao. It is rare that it looks beautiful without gas, and it is lucky to see it in one shot.

Michinoku Lakeside Park

◆Michinoku Lakeside Park Michinoku Lakeside Park is the largest national park in the Tohoku region. A park where you can play all day with facilities such as large playground equipment, eco-campground, and seven old private houses. Events are also held frequently. About 30 minutes by car from the hotel. Recommended for couples and children.

You can see the large aquarium "Life Kirameku Umi", which reproduces the sea of Sanriku, and the largest performance in the Tohoku region by dolphins sea lion bird. There are also plenty of seasonal events to interact with penguins and otarias.

Miyagi Zao Kokeshi Museum

◆Miyagi Zao Kokeshi Museum
Toogattaonsen is the birthplace of Kokeshi, a traditional craft of the Tohoku region. At the permanent exhibition corner, 5,500 traditional kokeshi and wooden toys from all over the country, including the Togatta traditional kokeshi, are on display by system.

Shiraishi Castle

◆Shiraishi Castle (also known as Masuoka Castle, Masuoka Castle) is Hirayama Castle located in the center of Shiroishi City, Miyagi Prefecture (Masoka Park).
The Shiraishi Castle castle tower is on the third floor, the first floor is between the east and west and the north and south, and the third floor is between the east and west and the north and south. The height is 16.7m from the top of Ishigaki, and it is one of the largest castle buildings in Japan in terms of height and size of the post-war wooden restored castle tower. It's about 30 minutes by car from the hotel.
